I think I may delete this

So I just had a huge discussion with my mom about Facebook & Twitter.
That is surreal to me. Not the fact that she has one (because lets face it - every adult is trying to hop on the new-age bandwagon) but because these websites, mainly, are for the "-i-have-had-a-website-since-buddypic-was-the-only-site-around" youth. I am one of them. I had a livejournal since i was in middle school, and yes, once had a buddypic (like most of my now un-admitting friends once did).
Sorry to keep harping on this whole internet craze, but its something the whole world seems to be fixated one right now.
I never was a part of a site because it was "cool" or it was a "trend". I jumped on long before it - don't worry I am not the type that brags about being one of the "first" users. I am just expressing my frustration with the many that deem themselves savvy by having one, just for the sake of having one.
I realize I am going nowhere with this because I have had one too many glasses of Shiraz tonight.
I am going back to my wine, my film Water Lilles (a French film, check it out!), and my dark chocolate covered raisins.

G'night.
